One to One Play Worker

Jigsaw Preschool is looking for a calm, patient and responsible person to join our team as a one-to-one Play Worker.

This is a fixed term position from 1 June 2019 to 21 July 2020, working with one of our preschool children. It will be:

  • 9.75 hours per week starting on 1 June until 23 July 2019 (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am to 12.15pm) and then
  • 18 hours per week from 4 September 2019 to 21 July 2020 (days and times tbc).

 £8.40 per hour. Term time only.

It is desirable for an applicant to have NVQ level 3 qualification and/or significant experience working with young children. An applicant should also have experience working with children with social communication difficulties or those on the autistic spectrum. Experience of using positive behaviour strategies would also be advantageous. Employment will be subject to a clear DBS check.

Early Years Assistant

Jigsaw Preschool is looking for an enthusiastic, fun and dedicated person to join our team as an Early Years Assistant.

This will be a permanent position of 12 hours per week comprising all day Tuesday and Friday (8.45am to 3.15 pm with a half hour for lunch). Additional hours may be available.

Term time only.

Starting in September 2019.

£8.40-£8.60 per hour.

An applicant is required to have at least NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualifications i.e. GCSE's grades A* to C), experience working with young children, and a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Employment will be subject to a clear DBS check.
